Crisp Colour Scheme

It’s not always about a kitchen being bigger, but instead feeling bigger. Opting for clean and crisp colours such as whites, duck egg blue and cream (for example) will allow the room to look lighter, brighter and more spacious. The light will also bounce off these colours creating a more spacious feel in the room.

Flexible Storage

It’s a good idea to think outside the box when it comes to space saving ideas for a kitchen. For example, a cupboard with shelves may not be enough. However, internal drawers & pull out wirework will give you extra storage space. You could also and hang glass upside down to use that wasted space in your cupboards better. There is a wide selection of storage solutions available on the market. We will take the time to go through the best options with you,

Worktop Space

If worktop space is something, you are desperate for in your kitchen then introduce a breakfast cupboard. As soon as breakfast is over put your coffee machine, kettle, and toaster away in the breakfast cupboard. This immediately gives you that extra worktop space you want in your kitchen and helps achieve a more clutter-free kitchen too. You may also want to consider swapping your kettle for a boiling hot tap. An integrated coffee machine will free up space on your worktops too.

Combined Extractor Induction Hob

The combined extractor induction hob is possibly the best space saving ideas for a kitchen. It basically means that you can take out the bulky extractor hood above the hob and use this space for storage instead. This is just one of the many ways the space can be used more effectively to give you additional space in your kitchen.

Add A Kitchen Table

It may sound crazy but taking out a table and putting in a kitchen island or breakfast bar, especially in a long thin kitchen, will give you more space. You can gain some excellent storage space in a kitchen island or breakfast bar that would never be available with a standard table. You can have storage in the kitchen island or breakfast bar but also hanging storage over the kitchen island or breakfast bar if you choose.

Awkward Corners

Many homes, especially older homes, have awkward corners. If you have a smaller kitchen for example, it is even more important that these spaces are not wasted. Awkward corners can have cupboards, shelves or drawers installed to make the most of the area, while creating more storage space.
